High School- IGCSE and IBDP Syllabus

Sharanalaya High School - Transition from Montessori

At Sharanalaya, we recognize that moving from the Montessori method to the IGCSE curriculum can be a pivotal moment in a student’s educational journey. This shift not only involves a change in the teaching methodology but also in the expectations and assessment criteria. Our Grade 7 program acts as a bridge, ensuring that students are not overwhelmed by this change. Instead, they are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to excel in their new academic setting. Our dedicated educators work closely with each student, understanding their unique needs and challenges, and offering personalized strategies to ensure their success. We believe that with the right support and guidance, every student can navigate this transition seamlessly and continue to thrive in their educational pursuits.

Syllabus for different grades

At Sharanalaya’s High School, our educational journey is meticulously planned to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and well-rounded learning experience.

From Grade 7 to Grade 10, our students are introduced to the IGCSE syllabus, which provides a robust foundation in core academic subjects. This curriculum is recognized globally for its rigorous standards and emphasis on holistic development. As our students progress through these grades, they are exposed to a diverse range of subjects, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Recognizing the evolving needs of our students and the global educational landscape, we are currently in the process of seeking approval for the IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) syllabus for our Grade 11 and Grade 12 students. The IBDP is renowned worldwide for its advanced academic rigor and emphasis on personal development. By introducing this curriculum, we aim to provide our senior students with an opportunity to engage in an internationally recognized program that prepares them for higher education and global opportunities.
