Stage-wise Teaching Strategies

The last stage in student’s development cycle, the adolescent stage, provides opportunities to children to learn all worldly things. This is when the children’s character forms permanently.

Depending on the particular stage of the child’s life, Montessori teachers are expected to provide guidance and support to children, motivating them to learn and enabling them acquire newer and essential skills according to their specific age and capability.

Montessori Method expects teachers to take up a friendly and guiding role while not letting the children to feel being dominated. It is a unique skill required of Montessori teachers, to be always there for the children while not forcing themselves or making their presence felt excessively.
